They are size 11/0 or 15 beads an inch, tiny! Looks like they were a collar, people use them now for lampshades and all types of vintage decorating. Pretty purple color, Fringe is in good shape, may have a few random strings of beads missing, as to be expected for something so old. I sold the 'sister" to these and the buyer was happy.
