    Description

This is a cornet made in Grand Rapids, Mi. by the JW York & Sons Company in about 1904. It is serial number 9055. Professional models started in 1903 with serial number 7000 and went to 1921 with serial number 21000. It is approx 13 1/2 inches long without the mouthpiece which has no name, just the number 36 to identify it. The valve assembly has come loose from it's attachment points (2) from the end bell tube. There are some dents and dings also, and the silver plate is tarnished all over the instrument. This is a rare piece, and worthy of repair. Shipping is included in the final bid price to any continental USA destination via Prioority Mail. State sales tax is extra....Have Fun !
