1920 Boosey Solbron Class A Cornet Light Valve Silver Plated Serial #109813 Case

Description

This Boosey & Co Cornet silver plated and comes in it's original case. Also has four mouthpieces and numerous extras as shown in pictures. This cornet is beautifully engraved to the bell 'Solbron' Class A Light Valve. The serial number on the bell is #109813 which dates this instrument to 1920. There are a couple small dings as photographed. The valve tubes are numbered 28, 29 and 30 and there is also a stamped number 84532.  The two outside valves move well, but the center one gets stuck.  Unfortunately, I am not a musician.. just a finder of wonderful things.  In my opinion however, this would need repair before being playable.  Although I cannot say to what extent, but I am certainly more than happy to answer any questions or provide photographs.  I used up the 12 allotted for the listing, but feel free to reach out and I will be glad to send whatever photos you would like to see.
The case is also a little rough.. one side flap is hanging on by a thread.  The handle and straps are good.  See photographs for best description.  This comes from a local smoke-free estate.
