Plays Great ! Reconditioned
Great playing cornet from 1950.  I really enjoy playing this horn.  Conn owned Pan American.
Instrument Specifics:
The cornet plays great.  Nice bright cutting sound.  I really like it.
This is a Pan American 58A.
4.5 Inch Bell.
All slides pull easily.
Valves work well with good compression. Nice satisfying pump.
Sn 206816 - This indicates it was made in 1950
Medium Bore - .484 - #2 1/2 bore under Conn's system.
Matt Silver plating is overall good. Engraving is gloss silver.  Bell is brass.  There is silver wear at contact points as shown in photos.
No case or Mouthpiece.  A standard modern cornet mouthpiece shank works well.
