This horn is in raw brass with a fair bit of patina. There is a light coat of wax to slow tarnishing. It's recommended to regularly re-apply.
The case is original and nice. It has been reconditioned. One of the latches springs is weak.
It's had some damage in the past that has been fixed but there are still some scars and wrinkles in the brass Not a perfect horn but it looks good unless you get real close.
This comes with a unmarked vintage mouthpiece which fits well and plays in tune but feels a little short. A modern cornet mouthpiece will work but the shank isn't a perfect fit.
