Beautifully shaped ANTIQUE BLACK VENETIAN FANCY LAMPWORK BEAD W/ GOLD - XLNT!
Venetian Millefiori Mosaic and many other other types of Venetian beads were traded into Africa in the late 1800’s through the early 1900’s. This special lampworked bead is most probably from Venice, made in the late 1800’s.  The bead measures 29 mm in length and 12 mm in diameter at its widest point.  The inner hole is about 3 mm.
The bead has a wound glass core of black glass over which beautiful colors and designs in glass have been applied.  That includes three areas with metallic highlights to give some sparkle to the bead!
The bead is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks or surface damage that I can see.  The photos show different sides of the bead.
