    Max Neiger used stones like these in several of his pieces of jewelry. This is why sellers often refer to the stone as Max Neiger Stones. Not much is known about Max Neiger.  He did not sign his work. He didn't think it necessary. His findings were made in Austria. That is at least before the War. Pendants can be used for earrings or necklace charms.
    If you are not familiar with the Neiger Brothers you should really google images of Max Neiger Jewelry.  Mr Neiger was   a master.
