A beautiful variety of mosaic designs & colors!
This strand of beads was purchased years ago (1970s) from a dealer in antique trade beads. I didn’t ask many questions at the time, but I have read that these beads were made with a wound glass core of black glass (see photos) & layered with the millefiori decorations in many layers.

MEASUREMENTS:
18 inch long strand of 42 beads (not counting raffia)
From about 8 mm long to about 4 ½ cm long
Inside width about 11-12 mm
These beads are in good vintage condition considering their age, with typical surface wear, nicks, scratches and chips.
NOTE:
