ANTIQUE ETHNIC TRADE BEADS
47 Beads on a Raffia Cord
Beautiful Pumpkin Color!
These big, chunky beads look great with most other trade beads!
This is a string of old ethnic glass beads that was purchased many years ago (1970s) from a dealer who sold antique trade beads. I didn’t ask many questions as I was inexperienced and completely enamored of the color and the size of the beads. The first photo looks more orange than the beads appear in person. I would describe them as a medium terra cotta color.

21 inch string of beads
(I used a ruler with cm markings & chose one bead at random to measure)
About 1 cm long x 1.5 cm inside width
As with most antique trade beads, there is some surface wear and pitting that create a very attractive patina and earthy appeal.
