Such a great variety of mosaic designs & colors!
This strand of beads was purchased years ago (1970s) from a dealer in antique trade beads. I didn’t ask many questions at the time, but I have read that these beads were made with a wound glass core of black glass (see photos) & layered with the millefiori decorations in many layers.

MEASUREMENTS:
21 inch long strand of 67 beads (not counting raffia)
From about ½ cm long to about 12 mm long
Inside width about 10-12 mm
These beads are in good vintage condition considering their age, with typical surface wear, nicks, scratches and chips.
NOTE:
