    Description

    A lovely silver Tuareg cross from Agadez, Niger. They are also found in Mali and are worn by men as well as women. There are examples of these crosses in the book 'Africa Adorned' by Angela Fisher. The cross measures in length 3 inches, 7.3 cm and in diameter 1 3/4 inches, 4.5 cm at the widest point. The picture is enlarged to show detail please refer to the measurements for the exact size. The coin in the picture measures 16 mm in diameter.
