    Description

    Vintage / Antique very, very light hint of blue / clearish molded glass beads made in Bohemia better known as the Czech Republic specifically for being traded into Africa in the 1920s-1950's. Among the Fulani women of Mali these trade beads were used during weddings being presented to the bride, hence the name evolved wedding beads. Largest bead measures 33.10mm long by 20.59mm wide and is 5.70mm thick. These beads are worn everyday by some African women and traditionally on their wedding day. This bead set is in great overall condition with slight wear. Perfect for jewelry making or adding to your bead collection.
