Antique Ethiopian Prayer Beads Silver Old Mala Africa 30 Inch, double strand.
Strand of prayer beads from the mid 20th century, approximately 1940-50. Silver Alloy of unknown content with some copper and/or aluminum content. Included a nice old longer prayer pendant at the bottom and larger fetish style beads. Those beads are approximately 32 mm in length. While the strand itself is about 30 inches long, much of it is doubled, providing around double the amount of beads which are generally in good condition for this type of older bead. These are around 14 to 15 mm in length and 10 mm wide. The longer old prayer bead at the bottom is around 54 mm long.
