They are BRIGHTLY COLORED glass with shinning silver foil interiors. One of my first Venetian foil necklaces and the excellence of the bead work is still impressive to me after all these years of collecting.
Necklace is 16" long making this a choker sized piece. There are 27 fantastic Venetian color glass foil beads graduating in size from the largest bead (center) at 12 mm on down to the smaller beads at the end which measure 4 mm. Each foil bead has it own pair of lacey bead caps and the necklace is hand wired with an age appropriate eye and hook clasp. Sinc
e each bead is made one-at-a-time there is some variation in size, etc. One of the blue beads has a flat side to it probably a manufacturing defect or a small nick. With its brilliant color this defect isn't really that noticeable. Please study the pictures
