    Chevron Trade Bead
    Size   19mm x 20mm
    The Original Chevron Trade Beads were made in Murano Italy. They started making them in the 1400's before Columbus set sail for America. It is believed that sometime during the 1600's the original 7-layer design was changed to a 6-layer design. That design was used for hundreds of years. The Chevron bead was Very highly prized and sought after by Chiefs and high-ranking tribal members.
    We have been collecting Chevron Beads for over 35 years.
