  • Condition: The beads are in good condition, but they are very soiled from age, but no cleaning has been undertaken. Remarkably, insofar as we can see there is no physical damage to the beads, such as chips, but to be on the safe side we are going to say that 4 beads have very tiny and shallow chips that are largely invisible.

    Description

    We will be selling our collection of very fine antique beads over the next several weeks.  The collection was created over 20 years.  All beads have been vetted by an expert for authenticity.
    This wonderful strand is quite old. It combines antique tubular glass beads with antique lost-wax brass bells.   The beads and the bells may date from the 1700s into the 1800s.  The strand is 24 inches long (about 60cm).  The weight is about 9.5 oz (270 gr).  The beads and the bells are quite soiled from age and use, but no attempt has been made to clean them (as described above).
