Conn Victor 80A Cornet (1921)

Description

This is a beautiful silver Conn Victor 80A cornet from the year 1921 (SN: 192539). It is in excellent condition for its age. The valves and slides all work well, and it has been professionally cleaned and serviced.
This cornet features a gold-wash bell and a mechanical system to change the key of the cornet from Bb to A, moving all of the tuning slides to the correct position when pulling the main tuning slide all the way to the A position. This system functions well. There is also a screw system on the bell to tune the bell. This system also functions perfectly.
There are some dings and dents throughout the cornet, but nothing too bad, and certainly nothing bad for the age.
The original case is included. It is in good condition for its age, but it is still pretty old.
The mouthpiece is not original. It is a Conn 2 1/2 C mouthpiece. It is in excellent used condition.
