This listing is for a CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON Calendar Mask made by Don Post Studios in 1998. Limited to only 250 and known as "Version A," the mask is based on the underwater head used in the movie, where the eyes are left in shadow. This is a full-size, full-head mask made of thick latex with hand-painted features. It has been foam filled, as mask collectors prefer, and will not deteriorate over time. The openings are felt lined. Color is still superb and has not turned brown with "mask rust," a problem that has plagued these calendar masks.
