    Description

    Up for bid is a fine little German 800 silver HANNOVER souvenir spoon with a horse handle. The spoon is 4 1/2 inches long and weighs 12 grams.  The bowl is gilded, and has a die-struck view of “HANNOVER”.  The fancy baluster handle is topped with a 3-D rearing horse.  The piece has not been monogrammed.  It is marked “800” with the crown and crescent.
    Condition on the spoon is good.  There is some stubborn tarnish and normal signs of use.  A nice little souvenir spoon!
