Madame Alexander Wendy “Fabulous Fifties Trunk Set” 2003 HTF

Description

The Alexander Company celebrated Wendy’s fiftieth birthday with special limited editions.  The hatbox style trunk opens on the side and includes an 8” classic Wendy bride doll on one side.  She is dressed in a vintage style wedding gown in embroidered organza, lace with pearls and appliques, a veil with floral hair piece, petticoat, white mittens and satin slip-ons.  The other half features a hanging rod and a slide out drawer which holds the accessories:  hangers, bridal train, bridal bouquet, and additional outfits.  One outfit includes a pink knit sweater, grey taffeta pleated skirt, a grey swing coat, hat, ankle socks and black Mary Janes.  The other outfit includes a white silk taffeta embroidered with black flowers accented with pearls and a black velvet bow at the waist, petticoat, panties, socks edged with black lace and velveteen shoes.  Hatbox removed for photos.  All items are new.  2003
