VERY RARE 1939 YORK AIR FLOW CORNET - In good playing condition
A limited number of these instruments were made and are highly sought after due to the unusual design
Serial # 120916
Engraved on outside of bell - YORK Grand Rapids Michigan USA
Bead on bell is internal - 'bell bead reversed'
Some minor denting on the crooks (picture)
Overall lacquer is spotty
Natural brass is patina-ed due to air exposer
Instrument may have had some solder repair
Comes with original York case, York mouthpiece and original finger buttons
All 3 valves depress and rebound - may need cleaning/oiling
Case shows wear inside & out but closes tight and protects the instrument
Cornet has been in family since purchased in 1939
In fine overall condition
