Rare Antique Venetian Fancy Wedding Cake Foil Beads Beaded Necklace

Here is a wonderful Antique Venetian Fancy Wedding Cake Foil Beads beaded necklace. Fancy beads are beads that are not made with murines (murina) like the African Trade beads some of us love. These rare blue tabular and elongated shaped beads are a primo example of Venetian master class glass bead making. They have a blue foil base to which the master bead maker decorated with fantastic hand applied glass decorations. Just look at the intricate work!
Necklace is 16" long making this a choker sized necklace. Tabular foil beads are 16 mm x 6 mm. Elongated foil beads are 16 mm. There are what appear to be faux round pearl beads which are 4 mm. The clasp is pretty fancy too. It is
incised
on the edges and has a faux pearl
cabochon
. It is marked but I can't make out the letters. I believe this is strung on string. I would take them off and restring or just add them to your bead stash! Two of the elongated beads show a bit of foil loss. The brass spacer beads have verdigris. Please study the pictures
