This antique hand carved African wooden mask is superbly carved with striated designs. It was made by the Luba or Songye People and likely dates to the late 19
th
century.
The mask measures 12” long by 7” wide by 4 1/2” deep.
CONDITION: Some surface wear but no cracks or big chips as pictured. I have tried to capture the condition as honestly as possible in the 12 images so please be sure to see them all. Zoom in for the best views.
