Vintage CONN Conn-Queror Bb Cornet, 1904 Silver

Description

Vintage CONN Conn-Queror Cornet.  Made in 1904, this cornet is in good shape for its advanced age. It shows no signs of former trauma to the bell, no patches, or evidence of major repairs. Silver plating is in great condition, with only a few small areas where it is worn. There are some small dings here and there as would be expected in a horn this old. All valves work. Most of the slides move freely, however there are a few issues. The 3rd slide is stuck. The 2nd slide has pulled apart, leaving one of the sleeves stuck in the horn. I've supplied a close-up picture of this. With thick slide grease, it works surprisingly well as-is. This comes with the low-pitch tuning slide, so no problem playing at modern pitch. It also comes with a CONN MODEL 18 cornet mouthpiece. Sorry, but no case is included with this. US shipping only. Thanks for looking.
