Vintage F.E Olds & Son No.30 Super Cornet w/ Case & Music

For your consideration is a  vintage F.E Olds & Son No. 30 Super cornet with original Olds branded hard case, cornet warm up sheet music, "Gridrama" & "4 and 20 Sportunes" booklets, and Belwin "First Division Band Method-Part Two" method book.
Utilizing info attained from horn-u-copia.net and trumpet-history.com, we believe this horn to be a No.30 based on its bracing, nickel tone ring on bell flare at rim, and serial number aligning with time of production. This horn (serial # 9159) is estimated to have been produced in 1941 as other horns with close by serial numbers (those in the 9000 area) have been dated to later in the year of 41'. Horn is in good shape with cosmetic wear present. Plate wear, areas of corrosion, scuffs, scratches and a few small dents present in the main tuning slide and 3rd slide (see photos). eBay listings are limited to 12 photos so additional photos can be sent at prospective buyer request. Dents are minimal but would be ideal to have removed by a technician. Horn looks good for its age, but does have areas of wear.
*Prospective buyer's, please note* Instrument has been play tested and is functional but would benefit from regulation and adjustment. As with all used instruments, we recommend speaking with your local repair technician before placing an offer or purchasing. Repair rates and parts vary from shop to shop.
The case is functional with cosmetic wear present on the stitched outer sections of the case, a torn sticker inside the case on the left hand side (see photo), and a "vintage odor" coming from the inside of case. Case is protective to the horn and handle/latches are operational. Storage compartment under horn is in good shape and lid opens properly (see photo). Right hand latch as you face the case is a little stiff but does seat with extra pressure.
Sheet music and books are in great shape with no major issues present. Very cool vintage music.
