VINTAGE  GAETZ SLIDE CORNET VERY RARE ONE OF A KIND ! Gaetz was a cornet maker in Columbus Ohio from the late 1800s to the mid 1900s.
See photo with ruler for exact length.  Gaetz Music House is a historic building in Columbus Ohio It was listed on the National register of historic places in 2014
He was a manufacturing retailer.This slide cornet  was made in the Columbus store. probably mid century. could be the only one he ever made. it is stamped Gaetz columbus Ohio on the bell. comes with a Vincent Bach cornet mouthpiece 2 1/2c
The business operated past his 1957 death, operating via his son, Lloyd F. Gaetz. The business ceased operations in 1972 with Lloyd's death.
