Vintage King Master model cornet, SN 27040 (1918)

Description

This is a 1918 King Master cornet. Serial Number (SN): 27040. Lists "Pat. Pending" on the valve body.
This horn has been taken apart more than once. I bought it, cleaned inner tubing with chemical dip, cleaned up some of the tarnish, and re-soldered some parts, mostly for practice. All slides and valves move. Valves are unusual in that they are both top and bottom sprung. Needs felts and corks for good valve alignment. Comes with mouthpiece, but no case. Mouthpiece needs re-plating.
Bell is in good shape.
Various cosmetic damage from being 100+ years old and being taken apart more than once, but nothing that should affect ultimate playability.
Originally bought the cornet to restore, but now I'm moving on to other projects.
